FAQ: security & access control
What rules apply to installing a camera?
The camera law of 21 March 2007 requires you to declare the system to the police via declarationcamera.be, display the official pictogram and not film the public road or other people's property. We position and mask the cameras accordingly and guide you through the declaration.
Are smoke detectors mandatory?
Yes, but the rules depend on the Region: in Flanders in all homes, in Wallonia and Brussels notably in new and rented homes. We tell you how many detectors you need and where.
Can badges be managed remotely?
Yes. The systems we install let you add, suspend or delete a badge from software or an app, without a site visit.
