Does a charger need to be inspected?
Yes. A charging station is a modification of the electrical installation: it must comply with the RGIE and be inspected by an approved body. We size the protection, install the charger and prepare that inspection.
Is a reinforced socket enough?
For short daily trips and overnight charging, often yes. If you drive a lot or have a large battery, a 7 kW charger charges about three times faster.
What support is available for a charger?
Depending on the Region and your status, grants and enhanced tax deductions for businesses may apply. These rules change regularly: we check the ones in force when we quote.
